IMCNZ Supports the International Best Practice Competition
IMCNZ supports the International Best Practice Competition, an initiative that highlights excellence and encourages continuous improvement across industries.
Best practice isn’t about copying others or following a single formula. Instead, it’s about celebrating success, understanding the context behind it, challenging how we work, and learning valuable lessons. It’s a powerful way to raise productivity and stay internationally competitive.
To stay ahead, businesses need to explore what’s happening globally, assess their own performance, and find ways to improve. Investigating best practice helps prevent complacency and provides insight into the level of commitment required for innovation and continuous improvement.
The International Best Practice Competition brings together participants and judges from around the world and is run by the Centre for Organisational Excellence Research in New Zealand. Entry is open to all New Zealand organisations and involves a short write-up of a best practice initiative in a standard format, along with a modest entry fee.
Early bird entries are closing soon, so don’t miss the chance to take advantage of reduced fees! If you need more time to prepare, standard entries will remain open.
The core competition is the IBPC Best Practice Award. There are three other concurrent competitions: Organisation-Wide Innovation Award, ESG Excellence Award, and GBN Global Benchmarking Award. Each award has its own entry form and process.
